SFP Sub-Block ============= The SFP Sub-block is a hardware interface that enables firmware to exchange control-related information with the microcontroller for the SFP modules used by the FPGA for communication. In accordance with standard practice, SFP control is assigned to the microcontroller, which manages SFP state. Accordingly, these registers provide firmware-specific configuration information so that the microcontroller can configure and operate the SFPs as required by the firmware. The status register for this sub-block provides information on the expected SFP behavior, including whether the SFP should be powered, whether Rate Select should be asserted, and which protocols are assigned to each RX and TX fiber. This information is also useful for displaying configuration metadata. .. regtreedoc:: :file: ./source/design/Architecture/HardwareSubBlocks/SFPSubBlock.json :register: ["SFP Configuration"] :addressoverride: Offset + 0x0000
