The tools have been categorized into groups based on their intended purposes:

• Deployment tools: These tools are designed to manage the HotRIO module by sending commands or data to execute specific actions on the FPGA or microcontroller. They enable users to conveniently manage the module without requiring a debugger or specific hardware/software, as communication occurs through accessible ports (such as the USB-C port).

• Configuration tools: These tools are intended for creating and verifying configuration files for the module to execute upon startup or under certain conditions. Their sole purpose is to generate such files, not to manage them.
